DA Expo 2009 this week
The DA Expo 2009 opened yesterday at the Intercontinental Malta, St Julians, with the aim of providing a meeting place for technology, creativity and business.
With more than 25 exhibitors at this year's show, DA Expo 2009 is the ideal place to absorb the latest industry news and make new contacts.
Registration is free from the event's website and the visitor pass gives access to conference sessions on the day and time of one's choice. It also gives free passes to networking sessions, entry to the exhibition, business briefings, training and other value-added attractions.
"The DA Expo has managed to create a platform for individuals who work with digital media to learn, network, expand and share their knowledge, whilst building business opportunities," the organisers told i-Tech.
"The digital media world has undergone incredible changes in the last few years with online media increasing and with traditional media that has changed its face completely along with decreased budget spends. The DA Expo sets a place where trading knowledge is a primary objective. It sets the scene for businesses, students and enthusiasts alike, for the local as well as international visitors and speakers," they added.
Along with the chance to view a comprehensive collection of the latest graphic tablets technology, visitors will have the opportunity to be part of professional production training sessions in the new Apple training zone D. This will cover ideas of how to get creative with Apple's computer and software.
There are also exhibitor demonstrations from leading brands such as Apple, Adobe, Cinema 4D, Nimlok, Accura, HP, Cisco and Wacom. Moreover professional training will be given in production and post production. These sessions are a walk through in the latest tools and techniques using red digital cinema.
Camilleri Wines will be conducting an informal networking wine tasting session tomorrow at 8 p.m.
The DA Expo 2009 is open until tomorrow evening.
